NSF I/UCRC Collaboration

The Dallas Chapter has developed a strong collaborative relationship with the Advanced Research Center for Software Testing and Quality Assurance (STQA) in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). The Center is part of S2ERC, a former NSF-funded Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) dedicated to research in software engineering and security.

The Center also maintains an ongoing collaboration with the NSF I/UCRC eCAT Center, which focuses on research in Electric, Connected, and Autonomous Technologies for Mobility. The eCAT Center’s Fall 2026 Industry Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting will be held on the UTD campus on November 4–5, 2026, with Professor Eric Wong, Chair of the Dallas Chapter, serving as a co-host.
